Former Gor,Leopards out to deliver titles in Ghana

Former AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic who is now the new coach at Asante Kotoko has stated that he is did not join the club for fun but to win trophies.

Logarusic signed a two year deal with the Ghanaian giants replacing David Duncan who was relieved off his duties at the club.

Speaking after meeting the players for the first time, Logarusic urged the team to work hard and titles.

-You know why you are here. Kotoko is for trophies; league and cups and you have your bonuses as you win. We are not here for fun. I don’t know all of you but I know names. I’ve heard a lot of good things about you. We can't do it if you wouldn't help us to do it, he told the club’s official portal.

The coach went on to hail the abilities of African players. He has vowed to sharpen the players’ skills ahead of the new season.

-African players are gifted with skill. You can do anything with the ball, you can do whatever you want with it. My job is to teach you how to run and think at the same time. You have to run and think at the same time. You have to improve on your running in the game without the ball and with the ball, he added.

The coach will work with Michael Osei as his assistant.
