National Super League side Kenya Commercial Bank has confirmed that it is interested in re-signing free agent Jacob Keli this transfer window.
Keli, a former KCB striker is club-less after parting ways with KPL side Gor Mahia this window. The Leonard Saleh coached side is bolstering ahead of ^2017 season where the team will be seeking a bounce back to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).
The team has set eyes on some high profile signings this transfer window among them is former attacker Jacob Kell. Coach Saleh has confirmed that the club is indeed interested in signing the striker but added that nothing has been agreed upon just yet.
-Yes it's true we are interested in signing Keli, our target this season is to get promoted to KPL and as such we have to bolster the team with some good signings. Keli is a good experienced striker who will definitely help the team but he is not yet our player, we will wait and see how things pan out, Saleh told Futaa.com.
After a stellar season with KCB in 2013, Keli moved to AFC Leopards in January 2014, his stay at Leopards was troubled as it came at a time the club faced serious financial problems. He quit the club for Zambian side Nkana in June 2015 but lasted for only six months in Zambia. He was released by the club in December 2015 and signed for Gor in January 2016, at Gor he found game time difficult to comeby and was eventually released in January 2017.
