Thika United confident of bringing in new players despite being relegated to the second tier by Football Kenya Federation after failing to comply with FIFA club licensing.
Thika United was joined by Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka but Head Coach James Nandwa is optimistic the club will be able to bring in new ‘blood’ even though it has not signed any at the moment.
-I am just doing my part as a coach, I am even in the field right now taking the boys in training sessions. The office has not commented on the issue. I believe we will still attract players [despite relegation]. We have not signed anyone from outside [the club] with this being the fourth day but I believe by Monday we will know who is coming and who is going, he told Futaa.
