Koth Biro Most Valuable Player John Gaucho Njuguna has expressed his desire to play abroad and feels motivated after bagging the first ever award in his career.
The forward managed four goals in Koth Biro Annual tournament and guided Githurai Allstars to a quarter final finish in the competition.
His dream is to play for Kenya Premier League side Ulinzi Stars while he hopes to ply his trade in South Africa.
-My ambition is to play outside Kenya. Locally I would love to feature for Ulinzi Stars, abroad I would like to play for Free State Stars in South Africa, he told Futaa.
The player hailed the competition available in Koth Biro and stated that winning the MVP award during his first appearance in the tournament has made him believe he can achieve more as a footballer.
-It’s challenging and I am happy to win the MVP award and it has greatly motivated me because it is my first trophy in life. It was my first time also to play this tournament and it has boosted my morale and made believe I can make it. The team I was playing for and the players that were in it played a major role and I dedicated the award to them, he added.
Gaucho is set to join Black Stars who are preparing to feature in the National Super League. He previously played for Nakumatt FC.
